 Rain or shine!

Come help us celebrate our 25th anniversary Reunion!

Twenty-five years ago, over 300 Rambergers, Rombergers, Rumbargers and Rumbergers, all of them descendants of our immigrant ancestor, Bartholomaus Raumberger, gathered in Elizabethville, PA to celebrate the first All-Family Reunion.  In recent years, we have been meeting in St. John’s church, just a few miles from where that first Reunion was held.  Starting in the 1790’s, many of our ancestors were baptized and married in St. John’s, also known as the “Hill Church”, and the adjoining cemetery contains many of their graves.

We're also commemorating 254 years of our family in America.  We hope you will join us!

We plan to gather in the church to sing together, get to know one another, and honor the accomplishments of family members.  Our Family Historian, Dr. John A. Romberger will bring us up to date on the latest research, both here and in Germany.  In the afternoon, we will share a dinner and socialize in the open-air pavilion.

There is ample parking, and all facilities are handicapped accessible.  There is refrigeration for food and drinks.

For the Reunion dinner, a hot main dish, fresh fruit, and beverages will be provided by the committee.  Those who can conveniently bring a covered dish, hot or cold, or a dessert are asked to do so.  If you cannot, don’t worry – we never have a shortage of food!

The reunion will take place, rain or shine!

Response Sheet.  If you have not already filled out a Response Sheet (whether you plan to come or not) please fill one out and send it today. Click here for a Response Sheet you can print, fill in, and mail right now. This will keep our mailing list up to date for the future, and let us know how many folks are coming.  If you choose to enclose a contribution, it will help with the cost of mailings, the Reunion, the dinner, and further research into our German roots.

Exhibits.  Let us know if you are bringing an exhibit!  We encourage you to bring anything dealing with the history of our family that you would like to exhibit.  Please note on the Response Sheet if you plan to bring a display, and plan to arrive at the church early to set it up.

Youth recognition.  Recognition of special accomplishments of younger members of the family is an important feature of our meetings.  If you feel someone in your family under the age of 30 qualifies, please note this on your Response Sheet.  Both the person making the nomination and the nominee must be at the Reunion.
